sbo333 Sheffield United moved back into the Championship play-off places with a comfortable 3-1 win at lowly Reading.

On an icy surface that made for a poor spectacle, United led 2-0 at the break after goals from Billy Sharp and Mark Duffy.

Reading cut the deficit early in the second half through Omar Richards and could have levelled in the 62nd minute. But United's replacement keeper Simon Moore saved Leandro Bacuna's penalty and Sharp added his second goal almost immediately.

United led the table in mid-November but a poor run of only four wins in 16 matches had seen them slip to eighth place. Reading, the beaten play-off finalists last season, went into the match just four points clear of the relegation zone.

United began quickly in the sub-zero temperature, with the pitch covered in a thin layer of snow. They missed two gilt-edged chances in the opening minutes as the Reading defence failed to cope with the slippery conditions. sbo333

Leon Clarke should have done better when seizing on a Liam Moore error but drove wide with only home goalkeeper Vito Mannone to beat. Clarke soon had a chance to atone but, after a mistake by Tiago Ilori, saw his effort blocked.

Reading were not helped by the loss of winger Garath McCleary after only six minutes due to injury and five minutes later, United deservedly went ahead.

Clarke crossed low from the left and former Reading loanee Sharp saw his first close-range effort saved by Mannone but followed up to score his 12th goal of the season.. sbo333

MessagePosté le: Ven 20 Avr - 08:45 (2018)    Sujet du message: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp opens up on his plans for the fu Répondre en citant

sbobet online 24 Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed he intends to take a one-year break from football once he leaves the club. Klopp initially joined Liverpool on a three-year deal in 2015 before he committed his long-term future to the club with a new six-year deal in 2016, which is due to run until 2022. The former Borussia Dortmund manager was briefly linked with Bayern Munich before the Bavarians appointed Niko Kovac as their new head coach, but Klopp insists will need to take a short hiatus before his next managerial role.

"It's possible that I will end my career a lot earlier than coaches usually do," Klopp told Sky in Germany. "It's very intense. "I don't want to die on the coaching bench. After Liverpool I will for sure do a one-year break. That's a clear agreement with my family." Klopp intends to remain with Liverpool for the remainder of his contract and admits it would be difficult for a club even the size of Bayern to prise him away from Anfield. sbobet online 24

"I've never had an exit clause in one of my contracts," he said. "If Bayern had really been interested, no matter what I would have done, this would have been a complicated move. "I have a contract for four more years in Liverpool and the club are happy with me. That's why it makes total sense that they (Bayern) didn't try." Bayern Munich won their sixth successive Bundesliga title earlier this month, and Klopp insists he has no desire to challenge their dominance with his former club Dortmund, who he guided to successive league titles in 2010-11 and 2011-12.

"I don't really want to come back. That time was too good," said Klopp. "I won't work as a coach with the age of (Bayern Munich head coach) Jupp Heynckes. I admire what he is doing but I won't do that. "I had a fantastic time in Mainz and Dortmund. Most likely I will go back there - but not necessarily as a coach." sbobet online 24

MessagePosté le: Jeu 26 Avr - 03:46 (2018)    Sujet du message: Liverpool look to avoid more late drama against Stoke Répondre en citant

sbo bz sbobet LONDON (Reuters) - Stoke City will hope that the Liverpool they face on Saturday is the team that wobbled alarmingly in the final 10 minutes of their Champions League semi-final against AS Roma, not the one that dismantled the Italians over the previous 80. Nothing is ever clear with Juergen Klopp’s side who ended up kicking themselves after the whistle went at Anfield on Tuesday despite ending up the right side of a 5-2 first-leg scoreline.

Liverpool also conceded twice late on in their previous league game at West Bromwich Albion to prove that, no matter what magic Mohamed Salah provides, there is always hope against them if you hang in long enough. Or, at least, that will probably be the gist of Stoke manager Paul Lambert’s team talk as he contemplates the daunting challenge of securing an away win in the battle against relegation.

Four points off safety with only three games remaining, Stoke could even go down if they lose and Swansea City beat Chelsea, who are still intent on denying Liverpool a top-four finish. That should be motivation enough for Liverpool to ensure they do not slip up again although Klopp faces a tricky job in deciding his line-up after injuries reduced him to three fit midfielders. Even that may not be too much of a problem, however, if Salah continues in his current form as he chases down the five goals required to beat Ian Rush’s club record of 47 goals in a season. sbo bz sbobet

Champions Manchester City will also be in the mood for records at West Ham United on Sunday. City need just six more goals and two wins from their final four games to establish new Premier League scoring and points records, both of which look well within their grasp. But, as one of 11 teams still scrapping to avoid relegation, West Ham have every incentive to put up a fight. The Hammers are six points above the drop zone, where Southampton sit just above Stoke and West Brom, who must beat Newcastle to stand any hope of survival. sbo bz sbobet
